Sanji Nana ("Rain has come"in Malian Bamanakan language) is the second album of Kerchanga and the first one released as a duo.

Recorded on the roads of Mexico over a few months trip, it focuses on discovering and spreading the diversity of melodic traditions cultures of Africa. Covers from different cultures throughout the whole black continent are fusionned with guitar, beatbox, percussions, vocals.

The whole recording was rearranged in a personal way and blended with some mexican natural sounds and local languages such as Chinanteco or Zapetoco as a tribute to the ones who hosted and supported us through our journey in this land.

Sanji Nana ("La pluie est venue" en langue bambara du Mali) est le second opus de Kerchanga et le premier en tant que duo.

Enregistré sur les routes du Mexique lors d'un voyage de quelques mois, l'album est une invitation à découvrir la richesse et la diversité mélodique de l'Afrique. On traverse le continent noir avec des reprises réarrangées et parsemées de guitare, voix, percussions, beatbox.

La nature et quelques langues locales comme le Chinanteco ou encore le Zapoteco sont également de l'aventure en hommage à ceux qui nou ont acceuillis et supporté dans ce périple.
